My project has generated some interest!
I am very happy to announce that today when I finally got an opportunity to contact school principals and district superintendents about my action research project, the initial response has been very positive and I will be meeting with at least one principal one district and the superintendent of another. I am feeling much more confident now as a result of these initial responses.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your topic is generating some interest. As a classroom teacher for many years, I felt this was a great topic and it is always a struggle to figure out lessons to leave for substitutes without confusion to them or the students. I have found that I tend to try and obtain the same substitute everytime I am gone. Although it is different than having me there, I have been able to leave substantial lessons both she and the students are comfortable with and I have limited loss of instruction time. I look forward to following your research!
